Vignetting is an effect that reduces the brightness or saturation of an image from the center to the edges, and can be used to focus the viewer’s attention on the center of a portrait.
1) Prepare the image to which you want to apply the vignetting effect.

2) Copy the original image layer.

3) Use the marquee tool to set the selection area.

4) In the select menu at the top, go to feather in modify.

5) Enter the feather radius value and confirm.

6) Invert the selection area (ctrl+shift+i)

7) Lower the brightness of the image.

8)You can see the vignetting effect.
