1) By default, when you add an image to a composition in After Effects, footage of the same length as the composition is created.

2) In the import of preferences, you can see that the length of composition in still footage is checked.

3) To customize the footage length, check the second option and enter the length.

4) When you add an image to a composition, you can see that footage of the length set by the user is created.
