[3D Max] The asset status is displayed as Found in Asset Tracking.

How to Change Asset File Path to a Relative Path to the Project Folder (The .max file must exist under the project folder)

1)In Asset Tracking, you can see that the asset status is displayed as ‘Found‘. This means that Asset Tracking found the asset, but the file path is incorrect or has been moved.

2) You can see that the actual path where the asset exists and the path displayed in Asset Tracking (full path) are different.

The path where the actual asset exists
D:\2025\Zhangjiajie\Jogeodo\max\Humano_09Kids_3ds_vray\Maps

Asset Tracking Path (Asset Tracking, Full Path)
C:\Users\qwerty\Downloads\09\Humano_09Kids_3ds\Humano_09Kids_3ds\Humano_09Kids_3ds_vray\Maps

3) To reset the path of an asset, select the asset from the list and right-click the mouse to select Make Path Relative to Project Folder from the menu.

4) The asset has been reset to the actual path and the status is displayed as Ok. Reset the path for all assets in the same way.

5) Save the current project with the reset path.
